Unaspected Venus In Gemini

Maybe some women aren’t meant to be tamed. Maybe they just need to run free till they find someone just as wild to run with them. Carrie Bradshaw

The first time someone told me I have a unaspected Venus, I was horrified! My 7th house is already sandwiched between Saturn conjunct my Descendant from the 6th house and Pluto in the 8th; really relationships are these evolutionary experiences in themselves. Nothing is ever really light. I can never seem to find anyone to settle down with and now it has become abundantly clear as to why. Venus is how we show love and the way in which we relate to others. Having Venus in Gemini indicates the need to be mentally stimulated; long conversations, and all forms of communication. Text me! Call me! Write me a letter! Tell me something I haven’t heard and take me some place I haven’t been. Above all things be interesting.

Gemini is known to be the quickest sign in the zodiac, Gemini lacks focus and is somewhat scattered. Ok totally scattered. Having it unaspected is like having Venus on Speed, a caramel macchiato and 6 cans of soda! I compare it to a butterfly landing on flowers; well I want to smell the purple ones, now how about the pink and WOW those yellow ones over there look pretty. The options appear endless and at other times overwhelming. Without Venus touching any other planet it is left all alone without anything to stabilize it. Unaspected planets operate in the purest form; they are 100% true to sign because they are unable to incorporate any other planets energy. With that being said, true to Venus in Gemini form, when in a relationship I do write small notes and leave them in pants pockets reminding them to have a nice day, I text lyrics to songs and love to sing my tone deaf heart out! But it is hard for someone to keep my attention unless they have some deep psychological complexities that take awhile to unravel and understand. I can’t take anything monotonous; love for me is movement, growth, learning from one another and travel. I think with my Venus being unaspected this is only enhanced.
Unaspected planets play a pivotal role; they are defining characteristics in your natal chart. They are a driving force, a main theme to your personality. Having Venus unaspected in Gemini longs for spontaneous interactions in love, parties, outrageous dates, events, travel…..we need to feel free within the confines of a loving relationship. Someone recently asked me, why I am not married. I replied, “I always run”. Next time I think I will stay though, I just need someone that can match my need for speed in love and life.

Bil Tierney writes in Dynamics of Aspect Analysis about unaspected planets

“An unaspected planet can appear quite intense and one pointed in its expression since its energy is not colored by others planets functioning thru other signs”

He writes about the unaspected Venus

“Venus here may tend to fulfill its impulses in a sporadic, almost compulsive manner showing little restraint or moderation.

In the Yod Book by Karen Hamaker she says about unaspected planets

“Since a unaspected planet has no contact with other planets, this means that its energy can go in any direction and cannot always be coordinated. “
