The Loss of a Job and the rule of 3

Published January 15, 2016 by starsmoonandsun

Astrologically most astrologers like to see confirmation in more then one area when making a prediction. I like to stick with the rule of 3 which I will demonstrate in this post. I had advised my friend I saw a change in job and perhaps some financial  restraints a year prior to him losing his job. I didnt predict him being terminated because he works in a Union related position (no he is NOT in law enforcement) and I will tell you he is innocent on every account and in the end he chose to resign. I dont want to get into it more but I do want to show you how A.accurate astrology is B The technicalities so you can predict for yourself

He was suspended and then officially terminated during a full moon phase .

Full Moons are for culmination, they are endings

No Full Moon weddings please unless you feel marriage means your life is over

A few times I have been to events where people are using Full Moons to bring forth newness and I cringe, that is what New Moons are about.

Full Moons occur when the sun is opposite the moon they relate to endings, they signify being torn in 2 directions as the Full Moon is across 2 houses

He was terminated when the Full Moon was on his Midheaven this is the house of career and reputation. This Full Moon is all about your inner self (4th house) and your outer self 10th house. Your needs and the needs of others

Termination Chart

Also Uranus planet of change and unexpected; things you do not see coming is squaring his Venus tight tight tight, the tighter the aspect the more it is felt. Uranus squared Venus the planet of money, located in his 6th house of work and Venus is the planet that rules his Midheaven (Taurus is on the 10th house cusp)  in less then 1 degree. Indicating a shake up with money and career.

I think if Pluto had not just entered his 6th house of work this may have gone another way-Pluto in Capricorn no less this rules “the  man” power struggles, when Pluto is involved its coming for your entire life. Pluto in the 6th doesnt always = termination for some like Rob Kardashian it equals BIG health issues. I’m so tired of saying this but: you have to look at the whole chart .So Pluto ruler of power struggles, placed in Capricorn sign of “the man” has just reentered his 6th house of employment, day to day activities, his routine. It forms an exact square to his moon indicating a emotional upset likely related to work.

Those transits alone could predict his job loss but I think the solar return (the true horoscope) showed this entire situation with a lot less work.  The  Moon and Uranus are placed in the 6th house of work. This almost always indicates a change in job. Where ever Uranus and the Moon are placed in the solar return chart you can expect a change.

Solar Return Job Change

Saturn often shows where we are blocked and restricted and it is located in his 2nd house of money earned.  When you lose employment you want to look at the money houses as well.

His Progressed Moon is also in Capricorn-this indicates emotionally geared toward work and accomplishment, again this can indicate job changes. On the exact day he was terminated it entered his 6th house. For me; I quit smoking when it entered my 6th. The 6th house rules health, work and routine anything we do on a day to day basis.

During Mercury Retrograde in Capricorn and in his 6th house of work while Pluto transits the 6th and conjuncts Venus he was able to resign and reach a financial agreement.

Happiness depends on you this New Moon in Taurus

new moon in taurus

My New Moon in Taurus Mantra

“I Release all thoughts (Mercury) that block (Saturn) me from making my wishes (New Moon) a reality (Taurus)

If you follow me on Twitter you know I always encourage you to write down your new moon wishes once a month. I love the period of the New Moon, I like beginnings I have a natal Aries Moon and often feel I am on a journey of searching for newness. I like to try new things, see new places….the New Moon is a period of planting seeds that ideally reach fruition by the time of the Full Moon when the moon is at its brightest and fullest. I usually don’t post about the New Moon every month but several people seem particularly worried about this New Moon. The New Moon in earth sign of Taurus occurs on May 18th so the Sun and Moon will conjoin in the sign of the bull in 26 degrees (during a New Moon the Sun and Moon are always in the same sign) this New Moon forms an out of sign conjunction with Mars (meaning you want to take action) but perhaps you feel restricted or immobile because this New Moon is opposite Saturn and occurring on the same day that Mercury is stationary, or apparently has stopped before heading into retrograde.

Retrograde periods in itself are always about RE-doing, RE-viewing, RE-considering no matter the planet If its Pluto we RE-view our power, if it’s in Uranus we RE-consider where we want to be free, in Neptune we RE-vise our dreams, with Saturn being retrograde this is a time we REVIEW what has been blocking us, ya know if you didn’t get the lesson on the direct you always get it on the retrograde. With this New Moon being connected to Saturn retrograde we need to review all the ways we have been blocking ourselves from achieving our dreams. Taurus is not a flighty whimsical sign, it’s a ground earth sign that is all about the tangible what we can see with our eyes, touch with our hands; so this New Moon opposite Saturn is saying before you can go forward (Mars) you need to RE-lease all the blocks, limitations, and hardships (Saturn) within yourself (Retrograde) . Keep in mind Saturn is in the sign of Sagittarius; the only thing keeping you away from what you want is your belief!  Some say Sagittarius Keywords are “I perceive” Changing your perception may help alter your reality. Sagittarius is naturally a sign of optimism, perhaps this is a period of finding our inner cheerleader where we are most blocked (Saturn).

This occurring on the day Mercury stations in the sign or communication Gemini only reinforcing the idea that we need to review our inner dialog. Go on a journey within this New Moon, clear out old limiting (Saturn) thoughts (Mercury) change your perception (Sagittarius) and then your wishes (New Moon) will become a reality (Taurus)

A How To Post: finding the house your new moon, full moon or transit is in

Published January 29, 2014 by starsmoonandsun

This is an educational post on how to find your transits in the houses for example when you hear a new moon is at 10 degrees of aquarius or an eclipse is at 14 degrees of Aries or Saturn is transiting 21 degrees of Scorpio you will know what house to look in. You will know where & how this will effect you

Step 1 go to www.astro.com

Step 4 press additional tables PDF
You will see the location of the planets & on the right side your houses

You only need the sign and the houses at this stage you do not need the “planet positions”. My 12th house is at 20 degrees of capricorn -my first house is at 19 degrees of aquarius that means that my 12th house holds 20 degrees of capricorn all the way until 19 degrees of aquarius

This week a new moon is in 10 degrees of aquarius. It falls in my 12th house because my 1st house doesn’t start until 19 degrees.

Another way to do this is to simply click "transits" on the natal chart page & this will bring up your natal chart & the transiting planets in green on the outside. For instance Saturn is transiting my 9th house, you can see that by just looking at it.
