The Loss of a Job and the rule of 3

Astrologically most astrologers like to see a confirmation in more than one area when making a prediction. I like to stick with the rule of 3 which I will demonstrate in this post. I had advised my friend I saw a change in job and perhaps some financial restraints a year prior to him losing his job. I didn’t predict him being terminated because he works in a Union related position (no he is NOT in law enforcement) and I will tell you he is innocent on every account and in the end, he chose to resign. I don’t want to get into it more but I do want to show you how

  • Accurate astrology is
  • The technicalities so you can predict for yourself

He was suspended and then officially terminated during a Full Moon phase.

Full Moons are for culmination, they are representative of endings

No Full Moon weddings please **************

A few times I have been to events where people are using Full Moons to bring forth newness and I cringe, that is what New Moons are about.

Full Moons occur when the Sun is opposite the Moon they relate to endings, they signify being torn in 2 directions as the Full Moon is across 2 houses in the natal chart.

He was terminated when the Full Moon was on his Midheaven this is the house of career and reputation.

Termination Chart

Also, Uranus planet of change and unexpected; things you do not see coming is squaring his Venus tight tight, the tighter the aspect the more it is felt. Uranus squared Venus the planet of money, located in his 6th house of work and Venus is the planet that rules his Midheaven (Taurus is on the 10th house cusp) in less than 1 degree. Indicating a shake up with money and career.

I think if Pluto had not just entered his 6th house of work this may have gone another way-Pluto in Capricorn rules “the man” power struggles, when Pluto is involved he is coming for your entire life. Pluto in the 6th doesn’t always = termination for some like Rob Kardashian it equals BIG health issues. I’m so tired of saying this but: you have to look at the whole chart. So, Pluto ruler of power struggles, placed in Capricorn sign of “the man” has just reentered his 6th house of employment, day to day activities, his routine. It forms an exact square to his moon indicating an emotional upset likely related to work.

Those transits alone could predict his job loss but I think the solar return (the true yearly horoscope) showed this entire situation with a lot less work.  The Moon and Uranus are placed in the 6th house of work. This almost always indicates a change in job. Where ever Uranus and the Moon are placed in the Solar Return chart you can expect a change.

Solar Return Job Change

Saturn often shows where we are blocked and restricted and it is located in his 2nd house of money earned.  When you lose employment, you want to look at the money houses as well.

His Progressed Moon is also in Capricorn-this indicates emotionally geared toward work and accomplishment, again this can indicate job changes. On the exact day he was terminated it entered his 6th house. For me; I quit smoking when it entered my 6th. The 6th house rules health, work and routine anything we do on a day to day basis.

During Mercury Retrograde in Capricorn in his 6th house of work while Pluto transited the 6th and conjunct his Venus he was able to submit his resignation and reach a financial agreement.

Damn! George Clooney is Engaged!!!

I am excited to go over the astrology of the engagement of George Clooney; when a somewhat eternal bachelor gets married as an astrologer you wonder; what is going on in that chart? (I knew instinctively Uranus was on that Venus) I would have loved to do their synastry but was unable to find her date of birth so if anyone sees it please do inbox me.

George’s Natal Venus is being conjoined by Uranus (I’m so jealous)

Venus is the planet of love, the women principal; Uranus rules shock, surprise, rebellion, sudden changes, the great awakener, it is where we become liberated. Uranus is exact on his Venus. Uranus’ visit to Venus or the 7th house brings a sudden change to your love life. Some married people divorce (Uranus is considered the planet of separation), other people have affairs, someone people get married and divorced with in the 7 year period it takes for Uranus to transit a sign.

As you can see the conjunction of Uranus to Venus has manifested in 2 obvious ways to the public

  1. George the “eternal bachelor” has gotten engaged
  2. George’s fiancé is not at all like the other women George has dated.

Image

Uranus transit to Venus attracts partners that are very different than those you have chosen in the past. It wants to shake you out of that rut and free you from old outworn patterns in relationships.

George’s Natal Venus is being squared by Transiting Pluto

George’s Venus is in the Cardinal Sign of Aries (this is a man that likes a fight in love, a bite, the chase, a challenge) As with all of us that have planets in Cardinal Signs we are being called to transform with both Uranus and Pluto touching our planets at the same period of time.

Pluto’s visit to Venus delivers life changing love, transformative love, personally I feel once you have had a Venus/Pluto type of love you can’t go back to the way you use to love. The light and fluffy will never go. This is the root of the root, the truth of the truth; it’s the depth of an ocean. Life changing indeed.

Any decent astrologer would never make a prediction off of this alone; you need to have several confirmations when making a prediction. Usually astrologers use the three rule. I am of the belief when something is destined it is obvious.

George’s Solar Return for 2013-2014

Solar Return Libra Rising

George’s Solar Return is about to end and he will begin a new one. A solar return is the only true horoscope and it goes from birthday to birthday. He is a Taurus born in May 6th. I will use his place of birth for his Solar Return.

(Some astrologers believe you can travel and cast a solar return chart for the place you visit. I am not of this belief. I don’t believe you can alter your fate)

Solar Return 1st house in the Natal 7th house

So using this solar return cast for his place of birth George has Libra Rising, the Rising Sign is VERY important in solar return charts; Libra rising signifies concern with relationships and commitment . Not only is Libra rising the 1st house is in the natal 7th house the house of marriage!!

Natal Venus is Conjunct His Solar Return Descendent

Does it get any better than this! Venus/Libra is featured double here with his house of marriage.

Solar Return Midheaven in the Solar Return 5th House

Remember the Midheaven is your life direction, your status and how the world sees you. The 5th house is love affairs. You will see this configuration with engagements; you can also see the natal 7th on the Midheaven, or the Midheaven on the 5th….

Progressed Venus is also Squaring Natal Uranus

George is about to enter a “progressed Full Moon Phase; this usually marks a period of endings. People born on Full Moons and during the Progressed Full Moon Phase are often searching for fullness, perhaps he found what was lacking.

I was a little disappointed to see George had progressed Venus conjunct natal Sun 5 years ago. Everyone claims this is the time true love enters your life…it just goes to show that one aspect is not enough! Always follow the rule of 3.

Sometimes you are Damned if you do damned if you don’t

solar retun chart
I looked at my solar return chart months prior to my birthday and saw that I had my solar return Venus on my natal Saturn. Venus the planet of love on Saturn the planet of restriction, duty, commitment, and time. Timing is everything, how very cliché. Venus doesn’t go well with Saturn, they don’t hold hands. One is light and love and well the other is work. I thought this can’t be good. No you should not look at one aspect you have to take the entire chart into consideration blah blah blah but being single I want to know where my moon (feelings) and Venus (heart) are going to be for the year. 2012 was good year I had Saturn in the 3rd house of communication and thought so I spent a lot of time writing and it was nowhere near my moon or Venus. I’m going to tread lightly here, but this year Venus is in the 10th house of career and Saturn is in my 6th house of daily work; draw your own conclusions on how we met. Looking at this year’s solar return the energy was vaguely familiar so I looked back on my Solar return charts since 2009 when I first met my “plutonic love” and this only enhanced my state of awareness. Damn astrology. I had Scorpio Rising then as well, Saturn in the 7th restricting my relationships, moon in the 12th; feelings that lay secret. 2010 Saturn yet again in the 7th restricting relationships, my moon was in the 4th house; the 4th house is the darkest part of the soul it rules the cradle to the grave and lastly in 2011 when my “plutonic love” married someone else I had Saturn Conjunct moon in the 5th house of love affairs falling into the 8th house of transformation. A recipe for heartache. From 2009 – 2011 were very difficult times for me. I had a lot of sorrow. I mean those years were the catalyst for all I do today, the reason I moved, the inspiration for this blog, those years defined who I’m today, sadly sometimes joyfully but always definitely. So here we are 2013 and I meet someone, I like I never like anyone, sadly. I called my friend when I met him and explained the charts and said I can’t go through this again. Then went to see my own astrologer, I didn’t mention anything and he said this year is a good time to have an affair, (Gay men gotta love them they are so liberal). I myself clearly can see this Venus conjunct Saturn in my Solar Return indicating this is a man I like that has prior commitments. Just like the Saturn in the 7th house for my other 2 solar return charts. 7th house equals relationships Saturn literally can indicate a man with commitments, where Saturn lies there is restriction and hardship. I thought to myself; you cannot go down this road again this road that leads nowhere this path that is nothing more than a cul-de-sac where you end up where you started. I’m not in the mood for a transformative journey because I have been transforming since 2009 and I’m tired. Oprah once said; lord don’t teach me nothing new today”. That’s how I feel. I decided to choose differently, because I didn’t want to be in that place because I know that I’m not a light sort of person, I know if I like you I have the great capacity to love you and I’m unable to have just a good time. So I chose differently, I choose to acknowledge that this person is fascinating, but I will do nothing about it. When you know better you are suppose to do better. Isn’t that the idea to learn from the past and not repeat it? Someone tweeted the other day: We must all suffer one of two things the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment. That’s where I’m at emotionally I wondered if I could avoid my destiny, avoid what is in the chart? And I can say yes and no. I decided to not jump in head and heart first like I always do, but Venus is still on that Saturn and I still do like a man that has prior commitments. What up with you and your solar return? xo

PS a fabulous Gemini recommended I watch the movie TIMER I think considering Saturn in Astrology is considered Father of Time and timing is indeed everything, it is worth a mention.
