An Astrological Journey

I began this blog as a means to compartmentalize my thoughts and share my journey, as the famous saying goes life isn’t about the destination. Anyone that has peeked into astrology beyond their daily horoscope is well aware its much like peeling an orange; multi layered, you have to keep peeling till you get to the heart of it, the center; by all accounts the juicy stuff. I’m unable to pin point the exact moment I stumbled into astrology. Perhaps I always had an innate interest for all things metaphysical. In my early 20’s I took classes on Graphology (the study of handwriting analysis) and belonged to a group that read auras and tarot cards. For as far back as I can remember I have longed to explore the hows and the whys of life.  I am an 11 life path. I also have Pluto in the 8th house; I yearn to get below the surface and dig deep to find the truth (currently I’m working on experiencing love and life and not dissecting it, I’ll let you know how that goes) add that to an Aquarius rising with Uranus as my chart Ruler and I’m all about the eccentric, change, I want to revolutionize the way people think. We are more than the face we show the world, the house we live in, or the car we drive. We were each born at a given time and place and at that time the planets in the sky were aligned in a certain way, a snap shot of the sky was taken, that snap shot is known as the Natal Chart. A Natal Chart is specific to each person. With the time of day you were born and the place you can see a person’s psychological makeup, what you look for in a partner, the relationship between your parents at the time of your birth, your profession and your personal challenges. To close I will quote Carl Jung that stated ” “We are born at a given moment in a given place and like vintage years of wine we have the qualities of the year and of the season in which we are born. Astrology does not lay claim to anything more than that”
