Saturn the Buzz Kill to Jupiter

Published December 17, 2016 by starsmoonandsun

I am tired, drained really I do not have much energy and I feel the energy I do have is spent doing what I have to do, I don’t really have any excess to do the things I want to do. I have the sun in the 5th house my identity, my journey if you will is centered around love and creating responsibilities can exhaust me. It is very important that you tend to your natal sun, that you nourish it by the house that it is placed in. You need to remember to feed it. Energetically I always run very high I have Sun square Moon and a Cardinal T square in my Chart Cardinal signs are doers. My mom said she was going to buy me a makeup bag that read “I am busy” because I always am. I laugh at people that have the time to correct my grammatical errors on twitter, I am pretty sure they aren’t doing all that I do in a day. Running, going, writing, working, giving readings, taken a class, on and on and on until this week I hit a wall.

The culprit; Saturn is opposite my Jupiter via transit

Saturn Rules

  • Responsibility
  • Time
  • Work
  • Boundaries
  • Lessons
  • Practicality Zzzzzzz

According to Jeanne Avery in Astrological Aspects Your Inner Dialogs

Saturn “describes shoulds, musts, and oughts”

“Saturn is the testing ground of life and indicates the greatest karmic lesson to be learned”

I don’t do Saturn very well.

I believe if you look to the natal chart you will see how hard a transit for you will be. Not all astrologers believe this; I think if you are heavy say Plutonian Pluto transits will be easier for you because you are familiar with that energy. I have Pluto square my Sun, opposite my moon exact, trine Jupiter, sextile Saturn, Neptune & midheaven and trine my ascendant. Pluto is woven into me, death and rebirth it all comes natural. I just finished a Pluto opposite Sun square moon transit and it was pretty much all gravy.

But Saturn transits god you can find me laying in bed weeping. I do have Saturn natal in a grand fire trine which helps me out with work and money but it is square my Mars and Uranus. “You had me at fuck the system” has been the motto since birth.

Mars energy in a square to Saturn I will always be at war (mars) with authority (Saturn)

Uranus square Saturn indicates I rebel (Uranus) against the status quo (Saturn)

I am just not very good with rules and structure I prefer to be more free floating.

Saturn is now opposing my natal Jupiter in the 4th house it will be exact on New Year’s Eve Oh the joy

Jupiter Represents

  • Expansion
  • Optimism
  • Good Luck
  • Joy

“The Jupitarian quality is a marvelous combination of practicality and enthusiasm. The reverse quality is disappointment. If the aim is too high and the goals are missed the individual can be paralyzed by the let down” –Jeanne Avery

You want to look where Jupiter and Sagittarius are placed in your natal chart to see where you feel lucky or optimistic. I have Sagittarius on my Midheaven, I think this gives me a hope  that things will work out and when they don’t I would say I am greatly disappointed. I usually work from an inner knowing which I think is due to my Jupiter in the 4th house. The 4th house is the root of the chart and reflects what we carry deep within us among other things. So I have never been a 5 year planner I am a go with the flow listen to my own guidance sort of person.

I intuit mostly everything I do. I announced the other day at work I was booking a trip to Machu Piccchu and my colleague said Oh Peru…I had no idea where it even was! I sort of get called to do things

I have written before that I do not feel Jupiter brings us lotto wins or grand romances I think it infuses the planet or house with an optimism and belief that everything will be ok and usually it is until it isn’t.

And that brings me to Saturn opposite Jupiter

Saturn squashes the belief, the optimism, the joy that Jupiter holds. It tests (Saturn always tests) your beliefs, your truths, your inner workings (if Jupiter is in the 4th house).

Robert Hand writes in his book Planets in Aspect about Saturn opposite Jupiter transit

“During this time your opportunities for growth and expansion are limited”.

PROBABLY BECAUSE YOU ARE TOO F&%ING TIRED TO DO ANYTHING

“You often feel as if your personal freedom is unduly limited by others”.

“This transit is a useful if not always pleasant encounter with reality”

Saturn squelches the joy and optimism of Jupiter don’t let anyone ever tell you any different.

For those of you that have this natal oppositions can work like a swinging door so you can be optimistic, joyful, overly eager and then fall victim to Saturn the disappointment, melancholy, and depression can kick in. Robert Plletier writes in “Planets in Aspect” those that have this natal

“You fluctuate between knowing what you are worth to having doubts about your value”

I know there are worse transits, (they will happen for me in 2018 when Saturn enters Capricorn, I seriously just finished recovering from Saturn in Libra) that’s the beauty that comes with age when you are young you think this will never end, when you are older and know astrology you can simply open your ephemeris and say I may have to drag my uninspired tired ass all the way through December but as of January 1st this transit is over and I can go back to being my high energy manic self perhaps with a few lessons in the bag.

A Little on the Astrology of Lamar Odom

Published October 15, 2015 by starsmoonandsun

0bb736b333b6d12e840f6a706700e46a_r900x493

Oh Lamar Odom… I can’t tell you why I cried when I found out about of his current situation. I don’t like sports and I am anti anything Kardashian. But something about his energy has always been light to me like a big white light circles his aura. He seems like a cool breeze. I always say it’s a thin line between who we are and who we could be so let’s not judge his addictions, his actions and his demons. We are all struggling with something.  Lamar is a Scorpio Sun, Scorpio is the sign that is known for destroying itself. Scorpio rules death and transformation. This sign will die many times in one life time; let’s hope this time he will be reborn. Pluto/Scorpio is often compared to the caterpillar becoming the butterfly, it is no easy task. Scorpio Sun/Moon/Rising and strong Pluto types are familiar with death, it is etched into their lives. The having to let people go, that’s why you often find Scorpio types alone or drifting from person to person. Scorpio have known loss and they fear feeling that pain again. “Death always seems to be around me,” Odom told the Los Angeles Times in 2011. “I’ve been burying people for a long time.”

Odom has Neptune the planet of drugs, alcohol, addictions and artistry opposing his natal moon in Gemini; the moon rules our needs, our comforts. When Neptune meets the moon we need to escape, perhaps we find comfort in alcohol we want to dissolve and merge (those are 2 big Neptune adjectives) into something. God perhaps you want to dream (Neptune) for a bit. I don’t think Pluto/Scorpio types get to dream that often, we simply know too much, see too much. When Neptune aspects the moon in the natal chart It can mean a variety of things from an alcoholic mother, an unknown mother, or sorrow surrounding the mother, which is Odom since he lost his mom at the age of 12. In astrologer Adrian Ross Duncan’s book “Astrology Transformation and Empowerment” he writes “it is as if Moon Neptune individuals have their own private lake of sorrow”  and goes on to say “Naturally the desire to take mood enhancing substances that can lift them out of sadness is strong”

His Neptune also squares Saturn, Saturn is the planet of boundaries, discipline, and authority and here comes Neptune planet of confusion  and of dissolving, he knows no boundaries.

We must not forget his father is/was an addict the on and off quality of their relationship is reflected in the Sun conjunct Uranus aspect in Odoms natal chart. The Sun ruling the father in astrology and Uranus anything that is erratic and has an unexpected quality.  Astrologer Adrian Duncan writes about the Uranus/Sun aspect “The sudden disappearance of the father can provoke reactions that create behavioral patterns that can be the root of a troubled environment later in life” Lamar once commented on his relationship with his father ” He wasn’t there to raise me. He was absent ALL of my life due to his own demons”

Lamar apparently overdosed on the day after a New Moon; during New Moons/Full Moons/Eclipses everything is heightened. The energy is heightened, the emotions are heightened, we are prone to excess and god you can’t seem to escape those feelings…. you drown in them.

Robin Williams killed himself on a Full Moon

Jim Carrey’s Girlfriend Killed herself after an Eclipse conjoined her Sun

L’Wren Scott killed herself on a Full Moon

Philip Seymour Hoffman killed himself with in a New Moon Phase

I am not saying Lamar intentionally overdosed but merely trying to prove the point that we are deep into our feelings during these periods.

Lamar is having an exact Saturn Conjunct Venus transit, Saturn rules restriction, delays hardships, coldness, hard work, and is considered Lord of Karma

Venus rules love, tenderness, affection, fun, sensual pleasure, and harmony.

Saturn on Venus leaves you feeling short on love, deprived of affection, it’s as though all the fun has gone out of your life.

I saw someone post something to the effect of poor Lamar Odom; lonely, depressed and unloved. That’s how the Saturn/Venus transit feels!

The New Moon was also in the sign of Libra ruler of love, marriage and partnership conjoining his natal Pluto so this pain must have run deep. Pluto is bottomless; Pluto rules the underworld, breakdowns, death and rebirth.

As a side note Venus conjunct Saturn can also rule sex workers. Saturn is work Venus is pleasure. (This aspect is quite common in prostitutes) as is Mars conjunct Saturn Just an interesting foot note with him having OD at a Brothel.

If you are having thoughts of taking your own life call  National Suicide Prevention Lifeline 1 (800) 273-8255

If you are struggling with addiction reach out and get help. People love you and are rooting for your sobriety. Even people that dont know you are rooting for you!

I am wishing him recovery at god speed.

The Astrology of Reclusive Celebrities

Published November 8, 2013 by starsmoonandsun

I happen to be thinking of Eminem the other day I’m not sure why maybe because his new song Monster was on the radio. I like him, my go to Karaoke song is “I’m whatever you say I’m”. I get him; that feeling of living under a microscope people wanting to define you, wanting to shove you in a box and label you. Some woman at work once yelled at me. “I know who you are. I know all about you”. I had to laugh wow, really, you do I assure you know nothing about me. I’m accustomed to people watching me, concerned with me & what I do when I quite frankly don’t care what anyone does. I have Neptune conjunct my Midheaven there is that twinge of glamour but the price to pay is high. The 10th house is the highest point in the chart it can be the filter through which the world sees you, it represents your ambition, your contribution to the world if you will. I’ve suffered false accusations on things I wouldn’t dare write about, people have always judged me attempt to label me, don’t see me clearly I feel that I live my tiny life through a magnifying glass I can’t imagine how that feels on a grand scale being a celebrity. The Kim Kardashians of the world, don’t interest me. I don’t watch gossip shows E or whatever. I will read a gossip magazine if someone gave it to me, but I certainly wouldn’t purchase one. I don’t understand people that approach celebrities or want autographs. I think this stems from my Pluto in the 8th house squaring my Sun in the 5th. I get the need for privacy. The sun is the ego the 5th is the house of creativity so sure I write here, I tweet, I act in my free time, I’m outgoing by all appearances but once you get to know me you will find I like to spend a crazy amounts of time alone I act not for fame but to be surrounded by interesting eccentric types. That is how I give of myself, here on this blog but I’m not the type of person whose house you will drop by uninvited, I live in an apartment with 24 hour security. I chose how I want to share; whom I share with. I can’t imagine how it is celebrities that are like me… exist. I mean I just have to fend off nosy neighbors not the entire world, not fans, paparazzi and the media. I Googled Eminem after he popped into mind and was unable to find much about his present day life. He may be engaged he may not be and there is the speculation of his affiliation with the illuminati…but then again the nosy lady down the hall from me thinks I’m a prostitute because I work nights ha ha. Eminem has a stellium in the 9th house. See here courtesy of astrotheme.com

eminem

And while the sun and Pluto do not directly connect all of those planets come from the same house, so they are all filtered through one another, they act as one. The Sun in the 10th house is a very public position, it declares “here I’m” put that with Pluto planet of control and secrecy along with the Sun whether it is opposition, conjunction, square or coming out of the same house acting in unison; you will want to have some if not complete control over the way you share yourself generally speaking. Perhaps not always-Pluto also rules prostitution, Guess that explains Kim Kardashians Sun conjunct Pluto in the 10th house. Selling sex as a career. I think she is the anomaly for this however. I tried to think of other extremely private celebrities but I couldn’t think of any other than Johnny Carson (Moon opposite Pluto) so I googled it and found Time Magazine had released a list
J.D. Salinger
Howard Hughes
Greta Garbo
Harper Lee
Emily Dickinson
Syd Barrett
Bill Watterson
Thomas Pynchon
Dave Chappelle
Marcel Prous
You can read the full article here
http://content.time.com/time/specials/packages/article/0,28804,1902376_1902378_1902428,00.html
Over half the people on the list had Pluto opposite moon or Pluto on the Sun via Square or opposition
Pluto represents
Darkness, secrecy, control, privacy, death, rebirth, probing, destruction, annihilation, the underworld, things that are buried, hidden, taboo, power, survival, security, paranoia, excess
Sun Represents
Some what the opposite of Pluto, life, light, ego, energy, identity, creative expression
When Pluto is on the Sun a person oscillates between being all out shining brightly and then hiding. The need to express itself via whatever outlet the house the sun is in and hiding away from the world.
Moon Represents
Our emotional responses, the past, safety, our needs, fluctuation, instinct
When Pluto is on the moon it is said that people want to control what people know about them. I do see that as being entirely true. As a person with Pluto on my Sun and Moon I think it is more of a case of not wanting others to stir up our emotions, our joys and our anger, we feel everything deep. And our perception is spot on. I often say we know the end before it begins. So it isn’t that we want to control what people know we often just want to protect ourselves from the intensity of our feelings. Being well aware that allowing people into our inner worlds also gives them access and opportunity to stir up emotions in us we would rather keep buried.

Orbs in synastry

Published October 12, 2013 by starsmoonandsun

The orb is the distance from one planet to another this can be in the natal chart or in synastry; the examination of your chart to another. The tighter the orb or distance from one planet to another the greater the impact. Looking at charts can be overwhelming. All this information often conflicting. I’ve taken the synastry (comparison of 2 charts) of my natal chart & that of a male friend We have a lot of outer planet connections, we have karmic ties what else is new 😉 . If you take a look at his Pluto in the 6th it touches all my personal planets. His Pluto squares my sun by 8 degrees & opposes my moon by 9 degrees this is a very wide distance. Some astrologers wouldn’t even consider this because it’s so far. Personally I would go up to 8. Normally Pluto creates obsessive, intense, crazy loves I’ve written tons of posts about Pluto plutonic love & at first glance one may think we are plunging the depths of one another emotionally but upon further inspection we see his Saturn in the 6th is exact square on my sun & opposite my moon with a 1 degree orb. This is tight tight tight. Saturn is like hitting a brick wall in synastry. He puts up walls between us. That’s fine he is taken so if those walls weren’t up my pants might be down ha ha This is not a complaint but rather an observation for learning purposes. Where Pluto is getting to the root of the root of the planet it touches Saturn keeps the planet at bay, at a distance, don’t get to close; the timing may be off, the Saturn person has other responsibilities. My plutonic love & I had very tight orbs with my Pluto on all his planets. Pluto rules destruction, annihilation I use to fall apart on him, collapse on him You can’t do that with tight Saturn in synastry. You have to walk the line, keep it together. Saturn after all is the disciplinarian of the zodiac. The distance between us is further enhanced by his Uranus in the 7th opposite my venus by 0 degrees that is exact, When I try to get close (venus) he will run (Uranus). I have learned to accept relationships as they are. Trying to find the unacceptable acceptable. So when you are looking at synastry first begin with the tightest aspects up to 3 degrees you will notice them immediately & have to deal with them often. Are you hitting a brick wall?(Saturn) Running for your life? (Uranus) Walking in a dream? (Neptune) Or is apart of you dying only to be reborn? (Pluto) or maybe a bit of all 4

Breaking up is hard to do Outer Planets role in synastry

Published September 14, 2013 by starsmoonandsun

Breaking up is hard to do Outer Planets role in synastry
I classify people and experiences by outer planets, oh that was one hell of a Saturian experience, there was the Plutonic love, the Neptunian delusion and the what the hell just happened Uranian theme courtship. I’m making this up, but most likely when someone holds some meaning in your life you have outer planets aspecting there chart and vice versa. Meaning there outer planets touch your personal planets. Outer to outer is rather irrelevant. I was thinking about nice breakups, where two people go their separate ways with little to no anger or placing blame. I was thinking about our endings with other people. Strong Uranus ties most likely have no finality, POOF the person just leaves, plutonian endings are tragic; complete annihilation, someone wants to win, couples can see each others inadequacies and use them against one another. Neptune; maybe the person stole your money, maybe you found out on facebook that they have an entire 2nd family; Neptune brings victimization to the forefront, someone feels duped someone feels taken advantage of, someone is invariably left wondering why didn’t I see this about so and so before. Saturn, oh Saturn I think you can have a nice break up with Saturn, I think you can part ways even in hurt with Saturian ties. Saturn is the dad of the zodiac, he is karma, and he wants to do the right thing. That’s the nature of Saturn, you don’t want to destroy the other person like Pluto, dupe them out of their life savings like Neptune, or just pick up and move to India like Uranian ties. You want it to be right; sure there may have been 30 men and women you left before they even woke in the morning. But if you have Saturn ties, you won’t do that. There is a sense of duty that exists with Saturn ties so they or you will say the timing is off, or they or you have other commitments but they won’t burn your house down like Pluto or use your address as an alias when they finally get arrested for all those drugs they sold out of your apartment like Neptune and they won’t disappear like Uranus.

Keys themes for relationships that are very much:

Saturn: time, where did the time go? This is the wrong time? I wish we had more time? Responsibility to work, to family or to someone else. Commitment, responsibility, karma, hard work. These relationships involve work, either the two people will work together, be bound to other work; they will find together they have to work very hard. Break ups can be difficult for whatever reason, Saturn is binding.
Uranus: Here today gone tomorrow, post-it break ups, divorced planned in secret (think Katie Holmes & Tom Cruise), sudden, abrupt, no explanation, when the excitement wears off they are onto the next thing, living in separate states, open relationships, threesomes, unconventional. Breaks up tend to be unexpected and sudden one person doesn’t see it coming.
Neptunian: Deceit sometimes unintended but you see what you want to see, con-artists, drug dealers; did you break up are you still together? You can’t be sure? Never on solid ground, walking between portals, tantric sex, and telepathy. When you break up there is often a sense of why didn’t I see this? How didn’t I know this? Perhaps an identity crisis, a crisis that leads to awakening that not everyone can be trusted
Pluto: death, transformation, annihilation, someone wants to win, dig deep, rip out your heart, tap dance of your soul, get to the root of the root of the person. Darkness, intensity. Breakups are marred by the realization: your life will never be the same again; you will never be the same again. When you break up: Love and hate take central stage, stalking, it’s not over till it’s over and lord you will know when it’s over. It is unlikely you will ever be friends.
What was your best and worst break up?

Transits to the ruler of a house

Published May 12, 2013 by starsmoonandsun

images

If you are reading my blog you are probably aware of transits, these are the movements of the planets in the sky around your natal chart.
Uranus for example in the 1st house will indicate you are prone to various changes perhaps the way you present yourself is different. While Uranus in the 7th house will deliver sudden marriages and sudden divorces. The place where Uranus is transiting will indicate a shake up and unexpected events. Each planet holds different significance and the most important and longest transits are from Saturn out to Pluto

Transits from Saturn bring; Karma, hard work, restriction, seriousness, commitment, hardships and delays
Transits from Uranus indicate: surprises, changes, unexpected events, and reversals
Transits from Neptune indicate; confusion, deceit, sorrow, blurring of boundaries, addictive tendencies, creative tendencies and self-sacrifice
Transits involving Pluto indicate; death, rebirth, clearing, obsessions, destruction, strength and transformation.

There is a lot to look at with astrology, progressions, planets, aspects and so on and so forth. I have been studying astrology for quite some time and even I miss something when reviewing my own chart. For the last year my job and been experiencing some serious ups and downs, now more than ever there is an abundance of changes. Layoffs, changes of schedule, several relocations, renovations, hiring and firing. If a change can happen it is happening to me now. This is very indicative of Uranus transiting the 6th house of work. But Uranus is not in my 6th house. However Uranus is transiting the ruler of the 6th house. Cancer is on my 6th house cusp indicating the moon rules my 6th house. Uranus is currently transiting my moon so this is very similar to Uranus transiting the 6th.
So when reviewing your transits look not only to what house is being transited but also what ruler of the house if being transited.

Aries is ruled by Mars
Taurus is ruled by Venus
Gemini is ruled by Mercury
Cancer is ruled by the moon
Leo is ruled by the Sun
Virgo is ruled by Mercury
Libra is ruled by Venus
Scorpio is ruled by Pluto
Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter
Capricorn is ruled by Saturn
Aquarius is ruled by Uranus
Pisces is ruled by Neptune

So if your marriage is going through some unexpected changes but Uranus is NOT transiting the 7th house but if Taurus is on your 7th house cusp, Taurus is ruled by Venus and your Venus is placed in Libra transiting Uranus in Aries is opposing your Venus thus affecting your 7th house. Transit to the ruler of the 7th house will affect your partnerships. If your finances seem tight but nothing is active in your 2nd house but Aries is on your 2nd house cusp look to Mars (Ruler of Aries) if Mars is placed in Scorpio you will find Saturn conjoining your Mars and YES this will affect your finances. Saturn restricts whatever it touches and now it is afflicting the ruler of your house of money earned.

Pluto Transits to the Midheaven

Published January 23, 2013 by starsmoonandsun

All the cardinal signs are feeling the crunch; YES hello that is you Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. Look at your natal chart and see where you have cardinal planets or points to see where Pluto planet of transformation is at work, for me Pluto is opposing my cancer sun (Capricorn is opposite of cancer) and squaring my Aries moon. While Pluto is digging, shall I say gutting out the cardinal signs in some manner, Uranus planet of sudden change is placed in Aries and will soon square my sun and conjoin my moon. If you are a cardinal sign the universe has undoubtedly signed you up for some dramatic changes, like it or not. For better or worse. For me the first of these changes have begun with Pluto conjoining my progressed Midheaven in Capricorn. Just as human beings do not stay the same, we change we grow, our chart changes somewhat and this is known as progressions. That is the short story.

This is what Pluto has in store for those of you that have a midheaven in a Cardinal sign; death, rebirth and transformation. In my previous post I explained how the people I work with have similar patterns in there solar return indicating we would experience some level of change in the year. How much change quite frankly I was unable to see although I knew it wouldn’t be good. It has been beyond not good, it has been excruciating and I feel as though someone is gutting me like a fish. Someone said to me I have to get use to it and “I’m sorry you don’t like change”. Uh no that couldn’t be further from the truth, I’m a Aquarius rising I enjoy shaking up the status quo My 8th house (home to transformation) holds Uranus and Pluto, I breathe change, I laugh in the face of it….ordinarily. Now today at the present moment; not so much.

I now know how people feel that work in corporate America and watch people in the cubical next to them pack up a box and go; I wonder who will be at work when I return from my two days off. Once my boss saying “We didn’t know if we should call you or we shouldn’t. We didn’t want to bother you on your days off”. I’m like call me; I want to know who is no longer employed prior to getting to work.

There is apart of me that wants to hide, if I’m 100% honest I want to hide away from the world. Why didn’t I become an accountant I yelled the other day. Truth is I can’t add or use a calculator;) I’m not in a position to hide, to run, to take 3 months off to catch myself; I work in a customer service based industry, a place where I’m told 3 people were laid off and 5 were fired but go outside and make sure to smile! My colleague that is on reduced work week, meaning she comes in occasionally said wow this place doesn’t even feel the same. Indeed I feel like we are dying in a way. Pluto rules death not always in a literal sense.

I’m a big fan of change but I’m not of the belief that all change is good, or that change for the sake of change is progress….quite frankly it isn’t.

Many people have been laid off and the powers in charge chopped our shifts quite frankly going into work I have no idea who I will be working with. Every day is like a surprise. When I walk into the building I say “Welcome to so & so where your future is unclear and your nipples are always hard”. I swear they have lowered the heat in an attempt to save money. So we attend daily meetings that are prefaced with plastic smiley faces and we have the pleasure of having smoke blown fully up our ass as they strip the marble from underneath our feet. Pluto rules renovation so it should come as no surprise liquidators are buying furniture, I can guarantee the once beautiful floors will now be updated with carpet. Termination, transformation, renovation…what is next will be anyone’s guess.

When this first began to transpire I thought I was going to be the pillar of strength, instructing co- workers, let’s not complain it will only make things more difficult. I do maintain that complaining solves nothing and it is my hope I will become tight lipped and loosen my firm grip on the reality that I have so firmly held onto that no longer exists. That one day I’m not crying in the bathroom on my lunch break. I will go with the flow more on Monday I tell myself, I will let go, that’s what I told myself last Monday Ok maybe NEXT Monday . Maybe next Monday I will feel better.

I work a late night shift now so I have to go to the grocery store and battle the senior citizens wheeling there cart without a care in the world because they have nowhere to go. It’s like some sort of bumper cars for the over 80. I use to go at midnight when it was empty, but now I’m still at work. To go to work, I leave around the same time the kids get out of school and are shocked daily at the audacity of women in minivans double parked or driving like lunatics to get their children from school. I find people in this country that have children think this entitles them to a lot including the 1st 50 parking spaces at target. Uh no. I have shit to carry too.

So I drive and I park by Plutonic loves parents house daily because he is the closest block to the train where I don’t have to feed a meter, I pray to never see him because quite frankly these days I’m not very happy. I rush into the day battling the New York City wind with my purse obviously, a lunch box because the food in my work cafeteria is no longer editable and I secretly swear they are attempting to kill us in order to avoid laying us off and having to pay unemployment, so with my purse, my lunch box Oh and my other bag with my uniform because our lockers have been under renovation for a year I scurry onto the train only to have my bag break, my lunch, my clothes and my tampons flying to the floor insuring I miss my stop. I gather my stuff with the assistance of gentlemen that looks like he probably throws up gang symbols in his free time. It’s been a hard week I said; taking a seat contemplating riding the train till the last stop just to catch a breather, all this transformation is exhausting here is too hoping next Monday is better and if not next Monday perhaps the Monday after that.

A meeting of the minds Mercury in Synastry

Published November 22, 2012 by starsmoonandsun

Mercury in a chart indicates how we learn and communicate; my natal Mercury is in Cancer indicating I learn via intuition. I need to feel my way through things; I need to feel people in order to relate to them. I have Mercury conjunct Sun in my natal chart indicating a quick mind, quick speech and a tendency to analyze everything. My Mercury also forms a tight sextile to Mars the planet of action making for the inability to stop thinking. I don’t believe my mind ever shuts off; I’m convinced even in a state of REM it is busy planning, deciding and going!

I don’t think Mercury gets much play when examining synastry, it doesn’t shoot off fireworks like a Mars and Venus conjunction, it doesn’t uproot your entire soul like Pluto on the moon, it won’t have you seeing stars like Neptune on another’s Venus, but Mercury is important! It is the manner in which we communicate; the aspects that Mercury makes can give insight into a couple’s ability to communicate.

True Story: I once had a date with someone, I don’t recall his sign but I used an app to get our compatibility rating and it was a horrendous 8% yes out of 100%, I went on the date any way obviously we all have free will and I don’t believe in astrology dictating your entire existence. In short the date felt like 8%, it was awful. The astrology app had mentioned that we would interrupt each other often. The entire date we were trying to speak at the same time, it was annoying to say the least. It was essentially impossible to get through one dinner. This was awhile ago so I do not recall the exact aspect, but mercury was 100% involved, it is how we communicate, learn and share ideas.

Today I was speaking to someone, a person very different than me. Some may even say my complete opposite but he was sharing his opinions and I thought Hmm this is interesting, maybe he is sort of right, Not that I will ever admit this to him or anyone else other then you fabulous readers but when we were finished speaking I thought I’m open to doing things differently. His Saturn is on my Mercury, ya know this indicates Maturing of the mind. My Saturn conjuncts his sun so the lessons he needs to learn are of the ego variety. We are all learning, growing, each person we meet transforms us in one way or another no matter how big or small.

In any event I skimmed my mental rolodex reviewing some people I have spent time with, shuddering at the reality that I have actually had entire relationships with people I cannot recall having had one deep, intense or even contemplative conversation with. How it this even possible?

I continued to scan the Ex-Files in my mind and simply had to look up some ones birth chart from a 100 lifetimes ago, someone I still dream about on that very rare occasion, someone; the first man really that appealed to my mind-he was hot as well- but till this day I never enjoyed speaking with anyone as much. And what do you know his Mercury conjuncts my Mercury in exact degree and only adding to this is the 9th house overlay that is activated. I use to hang on his every word…it was a true meeting of the minds.

As we live life we meet many people some and each person affects us differently. I think the best way to put it is:

Where ever your heart goes take your mind with you

Nice Mercury Aspects make for easier communication and basic understanding and what relationship doesn’t need that!

Mercury in Pleasing aspect (Trine, Sextile, sometimes Conjunction) to the :

Sun indicates natural understanding of ego concerns and identity, you get where the other is coming from

Moon ruling emotions and Mercury on the moon can feel at home speaking with one another, there is however a danger in emotions clouding your rational sense.

Mercury and Mercury as I explained is a meeting of the minds! How nice

Jupiter promotes good thoughts, expansion and awareness. Jupiter essentially, good wills jovial conversations.

Saturn in relation to Mercury: level headed, responsible, learning Saturn is there to teach

Uranus In relation to Mercury: Upbeat, lively, futuristic, open-minded conversations Uranus is there to awaken

Neptune in relation to Mercury: telepathy Oh goodness these connections can get muddled. Confirm what you are thinking psychically verbally sharing music together and anything artistic is indicated

Pluto in relation to mercury: Deep analysis, life changing conversations Pluto wants to transform the thought process
