I am wide awake; Uranus Mercury Transits

Published April 11, 2017 by starsmoonandsun

wide awake.gif

I am hardly polite on a regular day with Mars in my 3rd house sextile my Mercury but this transit (Uranus square natal Mercury) is something else. My mouth is like a loaded gun held by Betty Broderick, I just say things.  I won’t say I don’t mean these things, I do still I would rather they went unsaid.

I am not a patient person by any means with a natal Aries moon I do not wait ever but now my impatience is of epic proportions like none, zip, zero.

The worst part of this transit is possibly my inability to sleep even though I am exhausted!!!

I can be impolite but I can’t walk around f$#ing exhausted

Mercury is the messenger of the Gods it rules our mental faculties, the way we think and how we communicate.

Uranus rules electricity, it’s called the “Great Liberator”, it governs flashes of insight, lightening, it is actually considered the “higher octave” of Mercury.

When they meet by a square aspect this shows stress and I promise you I am stressed that I can’t sleep.

I can not confess I had any flashes of brilliance and if they ever do come I hope they arrive mid day while i am at the gym or with pen in hand

But for right now It isn’t like I am up all night writing novels or giving astrology readings. I am just up tossing and turning a glass of wine, a sleeping pill, it doesn’t matter I am still wide awake

Last night I slept 9 hours and 9 minutes but was restless for 43 of those minutes according to my Fitbit but I promise you I feel as though I haven’t slept at all. This transit lasts through 2018 Here is to hoping I don’t have to wait till then to sleep

Breaking up is hard to do Outer Planets role in synastry

Breaking up is hard to do Outer Planets role in synastry
I classify people and experiences by outer planets, oh that was one hell of a Saturian experience, there was the Plutonic love, the Neptunian delusion and the what the hell just happened Uranian theme courtship. I’m making this up, but most likely when someone holds some meaning in your life you have outer planets aspecting there chart and vice versa. Meaning there outer planets touch your personal planets. Outer to outer is rather irrelevant. I was thinking about nice breakups, where two people go their separate ways with little to no anger or placing blame. I was thinking about our endings with other people. Strong Uranus ties most likely have no finality, POOF the person just leaves, plutonian endings are tragic; complete annihilation, someone wants to win, couples can see each others inadequacies and use them against one another. Neptune; maybe the person stole your money, maybe you found out on facebook that they have an entire 2nd family; Neptune brings victimization to the forefront, someone feels duped someone feels taken advantage of, someone is invariably left wondering why didn’t I see this about so and so before. Saturn, oh Saturn I think you can have a nice break up with Saturn, I think you can part ways even in hurt with Saturian ties. Saturn is the dad of the zodiac, he is karma, and he wants to do the right thing. That’s the nature of Saturn, you don’t want to destroy the other person like Pluto, dupe them out of their life savings like Neptune, or just pick up and move to India like Uranian ties. You want it to be right; sure there may have been 30 men and women you left before they even woke in the morning. But if you have Saturn ties, you won’t do that. There is a sense of duty that exists with Saturn ties so they or you will say the timing is off, or they or you have other commitments but they won’t burn your house down like Pluto or use your address as an alias when they finally get arrested for all those drugs they sold out of your apartment like Neptune and they won’t disappear like Uranus.

Keys themes for relationships that are very much:

Saturn: time, where did the time go? This is the wrong time? I wish we had more time? Responsibility to work, to family or to someone else. Commitment, responsibility, karma, hard work. These relationships involve work, either the two people will work together, be bound to other work; they will find together they have to work very hard. Break ups can be difficult for whatever reason, Saturn is binding.
Uranus: Here today gone tomorrow, post-it break ups, divorced planned in secret (think Katie Holmes & Tom Cruise), sudden, abrupt, no explanation, when the excitement wears off they are onto the next thing, living in separate states, open relationships, threesomes, unconventional. Breaks up tend to be unexpected and sudden one person doesn’t see it coming.
Neptunian: Deceit sometimes unintended but you see what you want to see, con-artists, drug dealers; did you break up are you still together? You can’t be sure? Never on solid ground, walking between portals, tantric sex, and telepathy. When you break up there is often a sense of why didn’t I see this? How didn’t I know this? Perhaps an identity crisis, a crisis that leads to awakening that not everyone can be trusted
Pluto: death, transformation, annihilation, someone wants to win, dig deep, rip out your heart, tap dance of your soul, get to the root of the root of the person. Darkness, intensity. Breakups are marred by the realization: your life will never be the same again; you will never be the same again. When you break up: Love and hate take central stage, stalking, it’s not over till it’s over and lord you will know when it’s over. It is unlikely you will ever be friends.
What was your best and worst break up?

The Outer planets (Saturn, Uranus, Pluto and Neptune) in synastry

Published July 29, 2013 by starsmoonandsun

The Outer planets (Saturn, Uranus, Pluto and Neptune) in synastry are said to carry Karma. When your “outer planer” or someone else’s outer planet is on one of your personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars) it is believed they are here to teach you or a lesson (or vice versa) and that you have lived previous lifetimes with them. Lately people have been asking me about Saturn, personally I have been thinking of Saturn. My go to planet is Pluto; I can’t imagine being involved with someone where Pluto ties were not involved. I’m very plutonian.
Pluto in Love indicates:
Love is transformative Love is deep sharing Love is intense Love is cathartic Love is sexy Love is all consuming
Uranus in Love indicates:
Love is exciting Love is a rollercoaster Love is on again off again Love is electric Love is uncertain Love is freedom
And here we have Saturn;
Saturn in Love indicates:
Love is time Love is hard work Love is responsibility Love is commitment
Heavy Pluto connections indicate transformation is the key ingredient for one or both parties. Uranus’ goal is to wake you up and to some extent enlighten you. Saturn connections are binding, they are commitment. I would say you can set up white picket fence with Saturn. Though god willing you have some Pluto and Uranus added in the mix for excitement and depth.
In Composite Charts (The combined charts of two individuals) AKA the relationships chart how you function as a Unit. Pluto will tell you this relationship is transformative and powerful. Heavy Uranus ties say this relationship is unpredictable perhaps the people have an “open relationship” or live in separate cities. Freedom is highlighted and Saturn well you are dedicated to one another though the connection is less exciting and less transformative and more stable.
In my opinion
The trine and sextile are often easy in syanstry. These are not difficult to manage when two planets meet via trine or sextile.
The Square, conjunction and opposition are considered “hard aspects”
The Conjunction infuses both of the planets
The Squares struggle for dominance
The opposition needs to balance between two energies
Synastry can act like a permanent transit:
If someone s Saturn Conjuncts your Moon Around them you may feel restricted emotionally. There is a serious tone to your relationship
With The Saturn opposition or square moon aspect the Saturn person may be emotionally closed or distant to the moon person. The Saturn Person may feel they are unable to meet the moon person’s needs.
The Saturn person tends to be:
• More Mature
• Here to teach you a lesson
• Restricting
• Distant
• Cold
• Formal
Or perhaps they have previous commitments, obligations, and are unable to fully commit to the personal planet person.
Saturn is tricky, where as Uranus one person may just eventually just leave and in Pluto connections the two may have a fallout that lead to them never speaking again Saturn binds, there is a sense of duty toward one another, so they are binding especially with hard aspects, you feel a sense of obligation and perhaps that in itself is why Saturn ties encourage you to set up a house with a white picket fence together because for whatever reason you can’t just walk away
white picket fence

A meeting of the minds Mercury in Synastry

Published November 22, 2012 by starsmoonandsun

Mercury in a chart indicates how we learn and communicate; my natal Mercury is in Cancer indicating I learn via intuition. I need to feel my way through things; I need to feel people in order to relate to them. I have Mercury conjunct Sun in my natal chart indicating a quick mind, quick speech and a tendency to analyze everything. My Mercury also forms a tight sextile to Mars the planet of action making for the inability to stop thinking. I don’t believe my mind ever shuts off; I’m convinced even in a state of REM it is busy planning, deciding and going!

I don’t think Mercury gets much play when examining synastry, it doesn’t shoot off fireworks like a Mars and Venus conjunction, it doesn’t uproot your entire soul like Pluto on the moon, it won’t have you seeing stars like Neptune on another’s Venus, but Mercury is important! It is the manner in which we communicate; the aspects that Mercury makes can give insight into a couple’s ability to communicate.

True Story: I once had a date with someone, I don’t recall his sign but I used an app to get our compatibility rating and it was a horrendous 8% yes out of 100%, I went on the date any way obviously we all have free will and I don’t believe in astrology dictating your entire existence. In short the date felt like 8%, it was awful. The astrology app had mentioned that we would interrupt each other often. The entire date we were trying to speak at the same time, it was annoying to say the least. It was essentially impossible to get through one dinner. This was awhile ago so I do not recall the exact aspect, but mercury was 100% involved, it is how we communicate, learn and share ideas.

Today I was speaking to someone, a person very different than me. Some may even say my complete opposite but he was sharing his opinions and I thought Hmm this is interesting, maybe he is sort of right, Not that I will ever admit this to him or anyone else other then you fabulous readers but when we were finished speaking I thought I’m open to doing things differently. His Saturn is on my Mercury, ya know this indicates Maturing of the mind. My Saturn conjuncts his sun so the lessons he needs to learn are of the ego variety. We are all learning, growing, each person we meet transforms us in one way or another no matter how big or small.

In any event I skimmed my mental rolodex reviewing some people I have spent time with, shuddering at the reality that I have actually had entire relationships with people I cannot recall having had one deep, intense or even contemplative conversation with. How it this even possible?

I continued to scan the Ex-Files in my mind and simply had to look up some ones birth chart from a 100 lifetimes ago, someone I still dream about on that very rare occasion, someone; the first man really that appealed to my mind-he was hot as well- but till this day I never enjoyed speaking with anyone as much. And what do you know his Mercury conjuncts my Mercury in exact degree and only adding to this is the 9th house overlay that is activated. I use to hang on his every word…it was a true meeting of the minds.

“There are all kinds of love in this world, but never the same love twice.” F. Scott Fitzgerald

As we live life we meet many people some and each person affects us differently. I think the best way to put it is:

Where ever your heart goes take your mind with you

Nice Mercury Aspects make for easier communication and basic understanding and what relationship doesn’t need that!

Mercury in Pleasing aspect (Trine, Sextile, sometimes Conjunction) to the :

Sun indicates natural understanding of ego concerns and identity, you get where the other is coming from

Moon ruling emotions and Mercury on the moon can feel at home speaking with one another, there is however a danger in emotions clouding your rational sense.

Mercury and Mercury as I explained is a meeting of the minds! How nice

Jupiter promotes good thoughts, expansion and awareness. Jupiter essentially, good wills jovial conversations.

Saturn in relation to Mercury: level headed, responsible, learning Saturn is there to teach

Uranus In relation to Mercury: Upbeat, lively, futuristic, open-minded conversations Uranus is there to awaken

Neptune in relation to Mercury: telepathy Oh goodness these connections can get muddled. Confirm what you are thinking psychically verbally sharing music together and anything artistic is indicated

Pluto in relation to mercury: Deep analysis, life changing conversations Pluto wants to transform the thought process
